Surah An-Nur (24:36)

“فِىْ بُيُوْتٍ اَذِنَ اللّٰهُ اَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَيُذْكَرَ فِيْهَا اسْمُهٗۙ يُسَبِّحُ لَهٗ فِيْهَا بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْاٰصَالِۙ - In houses (mosques) which Allah has ordered to be raised and that His name be remembered in them; exalting Him within them in the morning and the evening.”

Surah Al‑Jinn 72:18

“وَّاَنَّ الْمَسٰجِدَ لِلّٰهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوْا مَعَ اللّٰهِ اَحَدًا ۙ‏ - And the mosques are for Allah, so do not invoke anyone along with Allah.”

Surah Al‑A‘raf 7:31

“يٰبَنِىْۤ اٰدَمَ خُذُوْا زِيْنَتَكُمْ عِنْدَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَّكُلُوْا وَاشْرَبُوْا وَلَا تُسْرِفُوْا‌ ۚ اِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُسْرِفِيْنَ - O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but do not be excessive. Indeed, He does not like those who commit excess.”
